The Story Behind Leading with Grace

Before I Was An Author...

I was simply a woman trying to hold everything together.

For decades I built businesses. Led teams. Raised two sons.

Like many women, I believed strength meant carrying more.

Life eventually taught me something different.

That grace is not the opposite of ambition. It is what allows ambition to become sustainable.

Leading with Grace was born from that journey.

Entrepreneur. Mother. Author. Woman of Grace

Annie Yap is the founder of AYP Group, a leading Employer of Record and workforce solutions provider across Asia.

For more than two decades, she has built businesses, raised two sons, and navigated seasons of success, loss, growth, and renewal.

Through it all, she discovered that true leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about learning to lead with grace.

Each role has shaped the woman I am today.

The Roles That Shaped Me

Why I Wrote Leading with Grace

This book was born from a question I could no longer ignore:

If success was supposed to bring fulfillment, why did I still feel something was missing?

Leading with Grace is a reflection on the invisible burdens many women carry while striving to excel as leaders, mothers, wives, daughters, and entrepreneurs.

Through stories of resilience, forgiveness, faith, and personal transformation, I hope readers discover a gentler and more meaningful way to live, lead, and let go.
